Kids will have a bouncin' good time at the Harambee Festival

Hey there, Broad River Trace! Get ready for one of the largest college-sponsored festivals in the nation – the 23rd Annual Harambee Festival!

On Saturday, February 25th, Benedict College invites the public to the Mays Resource Center on Harden Street for a free day of fun.  On tap is a mixture of art, food, music and shopping in the Shopping Village.  The KIJIJI Children’s Village will also be available for kids to take dance lessons, do scientific experiments, play in the bounce houses and participate in other outdoor activities geared towards the younger set.  Live stage performances for the whole family will take place throughout the day and will feature he Benedict College Gospel Choir, the Harambee Festival Community Gospel Choir, and music in other genres including jazz, steel band, and international.
